Jamaica Travel Authorization

Here’s everything you need to know about Jamaica Travel Authorization and how to travel to Jamaica now:

Jamaica presents a magnificent palette of experiences. A nice mixture of colors and sounds that make this island one of the most precious jewels in the Caribbean.

The beat of reggae. The searing smell of jerk over the fire. The swizzle of rum in your glass. Jamaica is a land of unique culture, engaging activities, breathtaking landscapes and, of course, some of the warmest, most welcoming people on the planet.

No place on earth provides the range of attractions and the cultural diversity that can be found in Jamaica.

Jamaica’s new normal for travel delivers an authentic, relaxing and COVID-secure travel experience.

The government of Jamaica has announced some preventive measures to manage the pandemic and keep both residents and tourists safe. The main of these preventive measures is Jamaica’s “resilient corridors”.

For the protection of locals and visitors alike, the Resilient Corridors were created to encourage safe tourism practices through two areas that are open for tourism right now in Jamaica.

These areas guarantee the strict delivery of service that conforms to a rigorous set of COVID-19 protocols and approved by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

No matter what you wanna do or where you wanna go in Jamaica, you’ll need a Jamaica Travel Authorization to do so.

The Jamaica Travel Authorization is a travel document that all travelers arriving from international flights must complete. This document was introduced by the authorities in an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19 during the pandemic.

This travel authorization is not required to book your flight. However, it is a requirement for check-in and boarding and the airlines will not allow passengers to board without it.

In order to obtain a Jamaica Travel Authorization, you can do one of two:

  1. Enter this website (https://travelauth.visitjamaica.com), link in the description, and complete the application on your own, or
  2. Simplify your travel experience with iVisa.com.

At iVisa, we’re leaders in consumer travel documentation and our mission is getting your travel documentation faster, easier and stress-free. Just go to www.ivisa.com, select your nationality and Jamaica as your destination. In less than 5 minutes you’ll be ready to go, and you’ll receive your Jamaica Travel Authorization when the time comes.

Keep in mind that the government of Jamaica is issuing this document seven days prior to the intended date of travel, so you can expect your Travel Authorization to arrive on that period.

Along with an approved Travel Authorization form prior to boarding a flight to Jamaica, ALL travelers ages 12 and up regardless of nationality, are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test taken within 3 days of the travel date.
